A person who intends or is required to file a document electronically must apply to the Registrar through CAMS to become a registered user.
Paper copies of affidavits filed electronically must be submitted to the registrar within 15 days of filing.
A schedule of filing fees for matters in the Court of Appeal is available here. There is no additional fee for filing documents electronically.
The Court of Appeal launched public portal of its e-filing system called CAMS (Court of Appeal Management System) on August 31, 2020. E-filing is mandatory as of March 1, 2021; however, a person may apply to the case management officer to be exempt from the requirement to file documents electronically by completing Form A attached as Schedule 1 to the Practice Direction.
